Bermuda car review: Getting Active with the Hyundai i20
The Hyundai i20 Active is brand new to the Island and is an entry into the competitive E Class market.
But Auto Solutions has high hopes and as a small car that is almost a compact SUV it does offer something a bit different.
It has the standard tech you would expect for its class and cost – around $32,000 – including things like reverse cameras but for MotoringBda one of its biggest pluses was its surprising spaciousness, especially for the driver.
Boot space is great with enough room for the family shopping and while the suspension might let you know you’ve driven over a pothole, the drive is, overall, very comfortable.
The only downside, considering it is a 1.4 litre engine, was the lack of a bit of oomph between second and third gears, but not enough to be an issue on Bermuda’s roads.
MotoringBda’s verdict – out of five stars:
Comfort: 4 stars
Noise: 4 stars
Tech: 3 stars
Interior: 3.5 stars
Visibility: 5 stars
Interior quality 3.5 stars
Boot space: Four full shopping bags
